黒澤 明 生まれる Kurosawa Akira nació (1910年)

黒澤 明（新字体：黒沢明、1910年3月23日 - 1998年9月6日）は、小津安二郎、溝口健二、成瀬巳喜男らと共に、世界的にその名が知られた日本映画の巨匠です。日本では「世界のクロサワ」と呼ばれていました。

Kurosawa Akira (黒澤 明, 黒沢 明, 23 de marzo de 1910―6 de septiembre de 1998) fue uno de los más célebres directores de cine de Japón. Comenzó su carrera con Sugata Sanshiro 姿三四郎 (La leyenda del gran Judo), dirigió más de 30 películas, entre ellas algunas tan conocidas como Los siete samuráis 七人の侍, Rashōmon 羅生門 o Dersu Uzala. En 1990 recibió un Óscar honorífico por su trayectoria.

Kurosawa Akira (黒澤 明, 黒沢 明, March 23, 1910 – September 6, 1998) was a Japanese movie director. Kurosawa's movies are liked in Japan. Kurosawa's movies are also liked by people in other countries. He made 30 movies in 50 years. He is thought to be one of the most important movie directors.

In many of his famous movies, including Rashomon 羅生門 and The Seven Samurai 七人の侍, he worked with the actor Mifune Toshiro 三船敏郎.

Kurosawa started in the Japanese movie industry in 1936. Before he worked a little bit as a painter. After years of working on many movies as an assistant director and scriptwriter, he became a director in 1943. This was during World War II with the popular action movie Sugata Sanshiro 姿三四郎 (Judo Saga).

Rashomon 羅生門, was first shown in Tokyo in August 1950. On September 10, 1951 it was the surprise winner of the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival. It then was shown in Europe and North America. Because the movie was so well liked, it made people in the western world want to see more Japanese movies. This helped make other Japanese movie makers become successful. In the 1950s and early 1960s, Kurosawa directed about one movie each year.

In 1990, he accepted the Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement. After he died, he was named "Asian of the Century" in the "Arts, Literature, and Culture" category by AsianWeek magazine and CNN.
