Esta es la historia de tres ancianos que han elegido retirarse del mundo
y vivir en los bosques de Canadá. Al tiempo que un gran incendio
amenaza la región, alguien llega hasta su escondite: una joven fotógrafa
que busca a un tal Boychuck. Y no es la única. Poco después, una mujer
de más de 80 años aparece como una brisa ligera que alborotará sus
vidas. Mientras intentan comprender la historia de Boychuck a través de
sus pinturas, algo extraordinario surgirá entre todos ellos.

Tristan Bernard (7 September 1866 – 7 December 1947) was a French playwright, novelist, journalist and lawyer. He studied law, and after his military service, he started his career as the manager of an aluminium smelter. In the 1890s, he managed the Vélodrome de la Seine at Levallois-Perret and the Vélodrome Buffalo, events that were an integral part of Parisian life, being regularly attended by personalities such as Toulouse-Lautrec. He reputedly introduced the bell to signify the last lap of a race. He identified as an anarchist.
トリスタン・ベルナール（Tristan Bernard 1866年～1947年）は、本名をポール・ベルナールといい、ヴィクトル・ユゴーと同じブザンソンに生まれ、様々な職を経たのち執筆活動に入り、約50年にわたって小説や戯曲を発表した。軽妙な作風に表れているように天性のユーモリストで、"トリスタン"というペンネームも、「トリスタンとイゾルデ」のそれではなく、競馬で勝った時の馬の名前だという。
