Santander. Martes 23 de julio de 2019. Feria de Santiago. Toros de La Quinta. Corrida bien presentada y entipada. Tercero, cuarto y quinto, con calidad y movilidad. Primero y segundo, faltos de fuerza. Curro Díaz, ovación con saludos y ovación tras petición; El Cid, ovación con saludos y dos orejas; Emilio de Justo, oreja y oreja. Entrada: Tres cuartos de plaza. El Cid, que se despedía de esta plaza, fue obligado a saludar al romper el paseíllo. En los tendidos se desplegó una pancarta que rezaba: "Gracias, maestro", impulsada por la Asociación Taurina de Cantabria. Morenito de Arles saludó tras parear al sexto.
El Cid と Emilio de Justo が大勝利 puerta grande でした。

Édouard Glissant -1928年フランスの海外県マルティニック島の山村に生まれる。詩人、小説家、思想家。現代カリブ海文学を代表する文学者。 フランス領カリブ海発クレオール思想の論客。パトリック・シャモワゾーらに大きな影響を与える。2011年パリにて没。『〈関係〉の詩学』『フォーク ナー、ミシシッピ』『全=世界論』『多様なるものの詩学序説』『レザルド川』『痕跡』等、思想と文学にまたがる著作の精力的な翻訳紹介が続いている。 来日時に加藤周一と対談した。 
The Fourth Century tells of the quest by young Mathieu Béluse to discover the lost history of his country, Martinique. Aware that the officially recorded version he learned in school omits and distorts, he turns to a quimboiseur named Papa Longoué. This old man of the forest, a healer, seer, and storyteller, knows the oral tradition and its relation to the powers of the land and the forces of nature. He tells of the love-hate relationship between the Longoué and Béluse families, whose ancestors were brought as slaves to Martinique. Upon arrival, Longoué immediately escaped and went to live in the hills as a maroon. Béluse remained in slavery. The intense relationship that had formed between the two men in Africa continued and came to encompass the relations between their masters, or, in the case of Longoué, his would-be master, and their descendants. The Fourth Century closes the gap between the families as Papa Longoué, last of his line, conveys the history to Mathieu Béluse, who becomes his heir. Édouard Glissant is one of the foundational figures of Francophone literature. Along with other writers from the French West Indies, he inaugurated a radical interrogation of the French literary canon from the margins of the traditionally Paris-centered literary world. His books include Black Salt: Poems and Poetics of Relation, which was also translated by Betsy Wing.
